Change of Mind & Refunds

Value Appliance Outlet does not offer refunds for change of mind on any purchase, including factory seconds, refurbished, clearance, or discontinued products.

Once payment has been received, all sales are final.

Sight-Unseen Purchases

Customers are encouraged to view item photos or read the full product description carefully before purchasing factory seconds.

If you choose to purchase without physical or photo inspection, you agree to the following conditions:
  • Cosmetic imperfections (such as dents, scratches, scuffs, or blemishes) that do not affect performance are not grounds for refund, exchange, or compensation.
  • Store credit may be issued only if a change of mind occurs before the item leaves our warehouse for delivery or collection.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after payment, a refund or store credit will be provided.
  • Proceeding with payment confirms your acceptance and understanding of these terms.
Factory Seconds & Refurbished Items

Factory seconds are products identified by the manufacturer or retailer as having cosmetic imperfections, carton damage, ex-display use, being discontinued, or customer-returned.

All factory seconds and refurbished products are tested and/or serviced to ensure they function as intended by the manufacturer.

Refunds are NOT provided for:
  • Cosmetic imperfections or visual blemishes
  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Repairable issues covered under warranty

Warranty Coverage

Factory Seconds – Warranty

  • All factory seconds sold by us come with warranty support under Australian Consumer Law.
  • For warranty claims, please contact the manufacturer directly and provide your receipt as proof of purchase.
  • The manufacturer will arrange warranty assessment, repair, or replacement according to their policy.
Refurbished Items – Warranty
  • Refurbished appliances typically include a 3–6 month functional warranty.
  • Warranty covers performance-related issues only, not cosmetic wear from previous use.
Non-Cosmetic Warranty (Functional Warranty)

This warranty covers functional faults only. It does not cover:
  • Cosmetic imperfections
  • Scratches, dents, or marks
  • Missing minor accessories
  • Visual flaws present at the time of purchase
Payments
  • Full payment is required before collection or delivery can be scheduled.
  • Items cannot be held without payment unless agreed to in writing.
Delivery Terms
  • Delivery dates are confirmed only after full payment is received.
  • Delivery availability and pricing vary for outer-region areas including:
  • Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Noosa Heads, and Tweed Heads NSW.
  • Customers must ensure safe and adequate access to the property for delivery.
  • Failed delivery attempts due to access limitations may incur a re-delivery fee.

Value Appliance Outlet reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
